Anthropic takes cards
Claude Pro and Max are billed by card through Anthropic's own checkout. There is no cryptocurrency option anywhere in that flow, and there is no sign of one coming.
The gift mechanism
What does exist is gifting. Anthropic sells a subscription that a different person redeems, which is a normal supported feature aimed at giving a plan to someone else. That is the mechanism every crypto to Claude service uses, including this one.
What that means practically
Somebody buys the plan with a card on your behalf and gives you the redemption code. You redeem it on your own account. The subscription is real and yours; the only unusual part is who paid the card.
How to judge a service
Look for a real order page that tracks an actual on chain transaction, a stated refund position, and prices that are honestly above list. Anthropic's price plus tax plus a swap fee is the floor. Anyone selling below it is either subsidising you for a reason you will not like, or not delivering.
